Redang Island is a island located in the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia, famous for its crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, and the tropical fish that inhabit the numerous reefs, many within 50 feet of the shore. It is actually the main Island of an archipelago comprising nine islands off the coast Terengganu, which form a protected marine park that offers plentiful of snorkeling and diving opportunities. Access to the island is restricted during monsoons (usually from November to March).
