This is a travel idea for those landing in Kuala Lumpur that wish to discover the tropical capital of Malaysia as soon as they are arrived and enjoy an all inclusive service including hotels, transfers to and from airports and local people to get around in the city centre engaging in authentic local activities.

On the first day you will be taken from airport to hotel, greeted by a local person which will give you first information about Malaysia, its weather, its customs and its people. You’ll have plenty of time to chill out in the first day as you might be tired from a long flight. You can explore the hotel surroundings, visit the Petronas Towers the and enjoy local food on first night on your own.

On day 2, a local person will take you by foot for a walking tour of the city historical centre, visiting old colonial buildings, the city museum, temples and religious buildings, then heading to the old Chinese quarters and stopping by Central Market, the old wet market now turned into a handicraft centre. You can have lunch with local food along with your local guide and proceed afterwards, by public transportation, to visit Batu Caves, the biggest Hindu site in Malaysia and South East Asia.

During the walking trip, please have with you sunscreen and an umbrella or a raincoat – since Malaysia can be hot but also rainy in some parts of the year. Stay hydrated and have drinking water with you (or buy bottled along the way).

On day 3 you will be returned to any of the city airports or, according to your travel plans, proceed to another destination as agreed with us.

      Schedule

1 Arrival and getting to hotel in city centre
This itinerary assumes you'll be arriving in Kuala Lumpur at one of the city's main airports: KLIA, KLIA2 (former LCCT), Sultan Abdul Aziz (Subang). Please notify us on your scheduled arrival time and airport of arrival. At the airport you'll be greeted by our staff which will drive you and your group to your hotel. Drive to city can be up to one hour or more, during this time you can get some basic information about Malaysia and its customs. Since this is your first day in Malaysia and you might be arriving from far abroad, you'll likely want to spend time resting to avoid any jet lag. No particular activities are scheduled for this day, but you can get acquainted with Malaysia and its climate.
