Not far from Kuching there are some interesting limestone caves, formed during the Jurrassic-Cretaceous period, roughly 60 million years ago. Legends and myths about them abound, forged especially by the Chinese community who was used to work in the gold mines not far from here. This excursion is suitable for everybody, and in addition to the caves you can visit the surrounding environment, the Bidayu’s rice paddies and learning about bird nest as a culinary delicacy. This half-day tour is not on private basis and you may be in a small group of other people. It includes a transfer from and to your hotel in Kuching town. We recommend that you have with you a suitable outfit, particularly with non slippery-shoes, as the caves have a wet floor, insect repellent, maybe a hat, disposable raincoat in case of rain, flashlight and water to stay hydrated.
